Underwood is a perfect for the offense we run now. Nuss is not.
The blame should rest entirely with Kelly for not making any adjustments for Nuss.

He deserves some criticism, but he isn't the one who can't block. Or throw int's. The team is a reflection of the HC. It's on Kelly.

Do you want Underwood? If answer is no then move on.
If answer is yea,keep Sloan

BK can't allow Sloan/Underwood to hold the program hostage.

Demote Sloan after the season and bring in an experienced OC from a P5 school. Underwood will be thankful in the end.

When are we going to have the conversation about Nuss though? 3rd and 5 or less and a check down guy is there

On the interception in the endzone, had Nuss not predetermined going to Daniels presnap, he would have seen Josh Williams to the right, in the flats for an easy TD.

No Sloan equals no Underwood. Just throwing that out there.
You don’t keep an OC at a premiere program for a guy who hasn’t even played a D1 down yet. If LSU is what the fans think they are write the check and he will show up. If not move on to the next top player.

Our Redzone offense has not been good. But he has actually shown a decent amount of creativity that has surprised me but the consistency has not been there, a new OC might be the answer but right now I am just very fed up with the Head Coach after that showing.

The game started off exactly like we wanted, Bama receiving the ball to start. False start, tackle for no gain on 1st down, and a bad snap forcing Milroe to throw the ball off balance bailing out of the pocket...but we left their best receiver uncovered for a long catch and 1st down. Proceed to force a 3rd and 8 and give up an easy bubble screen for a first down. From that moment on the game was easy for Bama.

I'm not sure how many of you are subscribers to On3, but there's a pretty concerning thread about Sloan from someone supposedly in the know in terms of how he manages the players on offense.

Showing favoritism to certain players based on potential rather than those putting in the work and showing up for practice, team meetings, workouts on time, etc. Losing players because of it (think the TE position). If what he says is true, Sloan calls the shots on which players receive certain amounts for NIL, and we have a HC who is completely disconnected from that process. The latter comes as no surprise to me.

He says he is a former player who played under Miles.

Jackson in like 220+. Nobody wants to call out Brad Davis but the oline is bad. Excluding Ole Miss they didn't pass block well against South car, Atm and Bama. We haven't run the ball well all season. Honestly last years rushing stats looked so good because defenses had to pick their poison between JD5 and Brian Thomas Malik.

Sloan is supposedly the QB Coach guru, yet he can't seem to get Nuss out of his own head

I understand your frustration but you can coach a kid all you want, but you can’t play the game for him.
He seemed very instrumental in JD’s VAST improvements in the pass game.
I think Nuss is just mentally defeated and is regressing because of mental weakness. At least that’s what it looks like to me.
