hmmm...lends some credibility to those inside LSU that say no one wants to play us at home.

yea it's not like we don't have to face #5 Florida, #1 Georgia,#11 Auburn this year Not to mention SC who may get a top 20 rankin before we face off, and an Alabama team who may be top 25 before we face them Yea..we play nho one
You're right on the mark. It pisses me off every time I hear "We need a stronger OCC schedule" crap. That "killer" OCC schedule really hurts Ohio State every year, doesn't it?
If you're in the SEC, you already play more Top 25 teams than anyone in the country.
Last time I looked, the SEC comprises almost 1/3rd of the preseason Top 10!

I am aware of LSU's overall schedule quality, indeed. But I a not trying to find a wart on Miss A's arse out of the blue. So there is no flaming.
But when someone specifically points out that there is no wart on the arse or points out a wart on another Miss A's arse, only then do I show them there is one indeed on the one wearing the purple bikini.

My posts are always in-kind responses. I simply call a spade a spade.

Since our SEC schedule is tougher year in and year out than their Pac-10 schedule, and we have more crystal balls than USC does, our Trojan trolls have only two things to crow about: OOC schedule and star rated recruting classes.
Let them crow in piece since that is all they have.
LSU beat 5 season-ending top-15 teams last year. Can any of our USC trolls tell us how many USC played last year?
I won't hold my breath for you to comment on that spade.

Still waiting for anyone of you little Trojan trolls to call a spade a spade!

100% correct. Stanford was fantastic in their bowl game while Arky got blown out

This season, although LSU plays both Florida and UGA (and Auburn, if you think they're top 10 material: I don't) the fact is that the OOC schedule is a flat out joke.
That spade is exactly that, a spade.
Overall, I think it evens out. In the end though, to be honest, I don't think it'll matter. LSU will trounce the OOC rent-a-wins and probably lose two conference games. I think that'll be enough for LSU to win the SEC West but I don't think the Tigers will win the conference. Too much to ask to beat either UGA or (more likely) UF this season.

What planet were you on last year when the national media and the entire Pac-10 erupted with indignation when Les Miles compared our road to the BCS C.G. and USC's?
When was the last time USC actually lost one of their strong OOC games?

The joke was on Virginal Tech for dropping our scheduled game in 2004 and rescheduling it for 2007! It cost them a place in the BCS C.G.!

yeah, okay so USC has played a tougher 0CC that b/c the pussy-10 has no good teams but USC. The SEC had at one point 8 teams in the top 25 and 9 bowl eligable teams last season, you can't say that about the pac-10. why should lsu kill themselves playing tough occ teams every season when we play in the SEC. this year theirs LSU,UF, and UGA in the top six. who does the pac-10 have? Az St. and Oregon. what a joke except for maybe MAYBE Az. St. We are are content playing one good OCC game a year and this season we so happen not to have any real good occ games. if USC didn't play tough OCC games ya'll be getting jumped week after week in the polls b/c the rest of pac-10 has just as much talent as the WAC.

You don't seem to get the point. Someone used the analogy that I (we) are looking for a wart on Miss USA's arse. I will use that to clarify. I only point out the wart on Miss USA's arse when someone specifically says "she does not have a wart on her arse". In other words, when someone says that LSU's OOC schedules are consistently worthy, I give evidence to prove otherwise.
As for your statement about Crytsal balls, that is true indeed. Not sure where that come from. But since you brought it up, USC has triple (that is 300%) the amount of NC's in FB that LSU has.

Still waiting for any Trojan troll to tell us how many final-season top-15 teams USC played along with their damn strong OOC schedule last year.
Zero = that Spade!
Now you want to talk about warts on your Damn Strong OOC schedule.
We leave it to the Gumps to bring up Ancient History since that is all they got.

Man, I have to hand it to you LSUTANGERINE, you definitely have a knack for 'calling a spade a spade.' Where your credibility suffers, however, is that your affinity for calling things spades does not appear to apply to your own school.
Question: What would you like LSU to do, play the toughest in-conference schedule in the nation and a tough out-of-conference schedule as well? Would that change our spade-ness into something like a diamond in your eyes?
How about old SC? They seem awfully spade-ish to me. Why don't you compare your entire schedule to ours? I haven't even bothered to look at SC's schedule, but I would bet you a burning trojan t-shirt that LSU has at least as difficult a schedule.
And since I'm typing to you I have an off subject question. What is the rationale for OSU being ranked higher than SC?

I believe they are going to ban the NC from ever being played in Louisiana again. ESPN likes to wear this out.

For all of you wanting to denigrate USC playing Notre Dame every year: That would be like me making fun of you all playing Alabama every year. (ND is the equivalent of a conference game for USC because we do play them every year.) Neither of those teams has been good most of this decade, but historically speaking are among two of the most consistently great programs over the life span of college football. There have been times where ND dominated USC and even longer stretches where 'Bama dominated LSU. And, those two teams have combined for a ton of NC. LSU's ascendency to the elite of college football is a relatively new phenomenon. Time will tell if it lasts. As for ND and Alabama - well, they have earned their place in the sun over an 80 year period. LSU has a long way to go to even dream about that kind of legacy.

I blame you for playing Nebraska, but since Pelini is there is there a chance you will play Nebraska again when they get a defense..

bama> notre dame
can u give me an excuse why your conf. sucks.
their is no point in LSU playing 2 or more tough OCC games a season when we play in the SEC. look at the preseason rankings this season, it would be pointless.
1. uga
5. UF
6.LSU
11. Auburn
18.TENN
26. bama
27. s. carolina
lsu plays all these teams but TENN.
