He's already 23 and has nothing left to prove to the pros unless he wants a Heisman or a natty. It doesn't sound like his waiver is going to be approved anyway.

A nobody as a recruit, a nobody as a transfer, Lane gets him to come to OM, and the starter gets hurt.
going from D2 to playing in the CFP within 9mnths. Just crazy. If he has the arm strength for the NFL, he will go pro.
