Geaux to the wedding. A game only last for a couple of hours, a relationship could last a lifetime.

Or she could end being insane and you could miss LSU upsetting Bama.

No girl is worth that.

yeah, that really was one of the worst bits of advice i have heard. people that live their lives around finding a SO lead a shitty life.

My wonderful wife, has a best friend that is getting married that night in Georgia.

She is so wonderful, she doesnt even expect me to go with her. She will be driving alone with the two small kids for around 6 hours to go to the wedding by herself because she knows how important the LSU/Bama game is to me.

THATS a wife worth keeping!! I'm a lucky man!!

Ok here is what you do. Go to the wedding and reception. After the bride and groom get there then you need to work the magic. My suggestion would be to wait till they start dancing and then you can get up to dance and then fall like you just fainted. This causes a scene (I'm not big in making scenes but if she scheduled her wedding during football season she deserves to have a scene at her wedding) but not too big of a scene. When your date asks if you are ok, reply with yes I just think I need to go home. If she is not in on it she will feel bad and you can watch the game.

Open date is the only time you get married during football season.

I agree, this is pretty lame. In 2004 when Auburn went undefeated, we were watching the LSU/Auburn game while the bride and groom signed the marriage license after the ceremony. While they were signing, we blocked the PAT (which of course, if you were watching the game, you know we got robbed due to our player falling on the center, and they got to re-kick and Auburn won the game 10-9) and everyone watching the game went NUTS. Needless to say, the bride got pissed and they had to re-record the signing of the marriage license.

Amen

Football season or hunting season is not the time to get married (if ever). Especially on the day we play the Gumps.

depends on if u think you'll get the nuki or not, with your house being right there...i could see ample opportunity of both of you ditching the reception and having gameday at your crib....
