Bama could just as easily have losses to USCe and UGA
Tennessee could just as easily have a loss to Florida
UGA could just as easily have a loss to Kentucky
Texas could just as easily have a loss to Vanderbilt.
A&M could just as easily have losses to Bowling Green and Arkansas.

This is true, everyone wants to think LSU is complete shite when there really aren’t a whole lot of great teams in college football this year that don’t have issues. Let’s pray we can get back to our midseason form of playing, but that is highly doubtful.

We only have a first round bye if we are one of the 4 highest ranked conference champions.
So for instance, if Boise State wins out and we don’t jump them, they would have the first round bye.
Although, unlikely we wouldn’t jump them if beating a top 5 Texas/TAMU in the sec championship game.
Just pointing out it’s not a guaranteed bye if we win.

If LSU wins out and Bama loses one game then LSU makes it.

If we win out, UGA beats Tennessee, and USC beats Mizzou, I would say we probably make the playoffs. Brady Cook is apparently out for the year so they easily can lose to Mississippi State and Arkansas

Here’s a scenario
We win out … things fall our way we win the sec with three loses … I’m assuming we get the bye but what if
Army beats notre damw and wins the aac … would we jump an undefeated army with a win over notre dame?
Could you imagine army getting a bye first round of the playoffs that would be wild lol

The winner of the Big 4 conferences gets an auto top 4 seed. Obviously we would be 4.

The funniest scenario is BYU, SMU, Boise St., and Army all win out but LSU sneaks into the championship game and wins, but ends up the 6th highest-rated conference champion and gets left out entirely.
