In the liberal American womens’ minds, they truly believe they are doing the same thing when protesting National Anthem.

For being obvious clickbait? Haha
I just couldn’t believe it had been up a few hours on Twitter and not posted anywhere on here.

Apologies if it’s already been posted and whacked.
Searched through the first few pages of each board and didn’t see it posted anywhere.

$100k bond for the accused killer.
The same bond Shia LaBeouf got for a bar fight and a gay slur.
The court system is so messed up.

How do you handle disappointing youth sports results?
Explaining to them that that is just how it goes in sports.
Drives me crazy how they don’t teach winning and losing in soccer with my kids until 9+ years old.
Losing sucks but when they get a taste of a big win, it’s so exhilarating, they forget about the pain of losing.

Could this not just be damage control by Nuss?
Easy to blame an injury now hinting that the unlikeable Kelly is responsible for playing him because everyone hates Kelly, anyway.

re: How to tell kids that it's time to put the family dog down?
Posted by John Casey on 2/27/26 at 11:18 am to StringedInstruments
It was the few weeks after that were roughest on my 8 year old daughter. She would have moments when she would just start crying before bed thinking about our dog. My 6 year old just went about business as usual.
They both understood why we had to put our dog down because they saw she could not walk anymore. We gave them a chance to say their goodbyes and all before I headed to the vet.
You know your dog better than the vet does, so trust your instincts. I kind of regret letting my vet convince me to give it just a little more time to see if meds were working. We had decided it was time to put dog down after a really bad night where we were not sure dog would make it, but when I brought dog in the morning, dog acted fine and vet convinced me to give it more time. Not an hour after getting home from leaving vet, dog collapsed at home and could no longer stand, so I ended up right back at the vet that afternoon.

$100,000 bond for a bar fight in which no one was seriously injured seems insane.

And suddenly February out of conference games aren’t really important.
Yes, it’s a bad loss, and fans hate it, but Jay Johnson does not care all that much about winning midweek games.
The midweek games are used to tinker with the lineup and pitching rotation to see what your players off the bench can do.
Jay uses the games to find out what players he may need to rely on later in the season and in a playoff run.

Hockey bros did nothing wrong. Still strange behavior from make a wish Kash. You and BBONDS and HHTM just handle yourselves differently than I do, I guess. I’d let the guys who earned it have their moment.
My theory:
Kash is a hockey fan.
Trump wanted to be able to talk to the team if they won gold.
Trump allows Kash to be the means to make the phone call and allows him to attend final.
Team USA wins gold.
Kash goes to the locker room to facilitate the Trump call.
The hockey bros just want to celebrate win with any and everyone in locker room and hype Kash up.
Kash chugs beer and gets caught up in the moment.
Kash makes Trump call as he was tasked to do.
Kash leaves locker room.
Internet proceeds to lose its collective mind.

Then people would stop actually going to the games. In order to fill these 100,000+ seat stadiums, you have people driving in from 2+ hours each way,
You think people would stop going to the games if they lasted 2 hours or less?
People would be more likely to go.
Best part about soccer, in person or on TV, in that I generally know when it will end and can appropriately plan rest of day around it.

They can put as many ads on field, stadiums, jerseys, referees, fans, equipment as they want if it meant I could watch a football game in under 2 hours.

Gymnastics keeps getting thrown around, but comparing an event that both the men and women do, floor routine, the men seem to do far more advanced flips and twists with none of the bullshite dancing in between.
re: Need Flooring Recommendations (LVP)
Posted by John Casey on 2/23/26 at 10:47 am to DiamondDog
If going the LVP route, make sure you trust the installer and that the locking mechanism on the floating LVP is reliable.
We used the Home Depot contractor when we installed LVP 4 years ago thinking it would be a pretty simple installation and something they couldn’t mess up, but the connections are breaking all over and we will have to replace it all much sooner than we were expecting.
It should have been a big red flag to me when the installers were complaining of the the proprietary locking mechanism on the LVP we selected and how difficult it was for them to figure it out.

From Google AI, which could just be some message board post, lol:
Men’s dart records generally show higher scoring averages and more frequent nine-darters compared to women’s, though the gap is closing at the elite level. While men hold higher long-term statistical averages, elite women like Beau Greaves (114.56 record average) and Fallon Sherrock (first woman to hit a televised nine-darter) have recently produced performances that match top-tier men's scoring

In management now, and unless I have a pending deadline or meeting, I just change my status on Teams the morning of.
When just an employee, I let all my supervisors and managers know as soon as I knew I would be out no matter if the date was of importance or not.
