marshall knew our cadences and snap counts basically knew every play we were going to run

No Pat White and no Rich Rod.......this is NOT the same WVU teams that made them relevant.

In that case, we were National Champs in 2007.........so, who give 2 shits about the OU game?

I have watched them THIS YEAR. They are going to lose and it won't be close.

That awesome passer you keep referring to will have someone breathing down and/or breaking his neck 80% of the time. Calm erodes under intense pressure and the LSU front seven are very special....on a national scale.

The 3-3-5 defense can be blown to hell against a run-based offense.

The saying is right: They are Marshall.......and no where close to LSU!

Oh, we've got coaching problems no doubt, but they're not usually on D.

Our coaches thought when we were up 30-10 in the fourth against UNC that it was time to "experiment" with two true frosh on one side of the field at the same time. Result: 98 yard TD. Then we went into a deep zone and they just ate us up with the short routes.

We've addressed those.

The problems you refer to are related to QB development/recruiting and lack of offensive identity.

Oh ... and how can I forget. Clock management.

I said this in another thread but is there ANY way they try to run this D against us?

The keystone to WVU offense is their speed at the skill positions. Only problem, they'll be facing arguably the fastest defensive unit in the SEC. Speed kills, more speed kills even quicker......

LSU 34
WVU 10

sure. they will be run blitzing all fricking day and will run cute little pre-snap shifts.

They better pray JJ doesn't make another step forward as a passer this Saturday.

Lastly, the WVU folks may laugh when I say MSU>WVU, but the lines MSU field are far superior to the ones I saw playing Marshall and the Turtles.

JJ is no Russell and Miles is no Saban. You'll be painfully reminded of that again this year. I'll been to several games at Tiger Stadium. Superdome is much louder for a regular season Saints Bucs game. 2010 Tigers = 1998 Tigers. Miles = Denardo.

...and reading comprehension is a struggle apparently. I never said JJ was, only that nothing in 2007 matters, so back off the OU game citings.

Also, WVU has had success playing the Saints in the dome? Interesting.......

Chavis =/= Tepper.....but, nice try.

1) physically WVU = Vanderbilt
2) O-Line Miss. St. > WVU
3) D-Line Miss St. > WVU
These facts are hard to ignore. If your defense is on the field for more than 20 minutes of the first half; the second half will be miserable.........for you.

Who said anything about the Mountaineers playing the Saints? It looks like you have a reading comprehension issue. Tiger Stadium's atmosphere is simply overrated. It's no louder than Mass 90% of the time. Your fans only get into the game after a great play, and as soon as thing go a little bit against you everyone sits on the hands.

I live here. You and I both know that all the talk is about the downhill slid of the program. You're already behind Alabama. Look for Arkansas to overtake you this year. In a couple more years you'll be back to spending your holidays in Shreveport.

Seems like you have quite a few players out as well. Does Stewart let the DUI guy play?

LSU's Defense and Special teams will win this game as we continue to work on our Offense.

Our Offensive learning curve will continue to get better and we will be forced to run a few more plays like we did in the one drive after MSU scored their TD to start the 3rd qtr.

I believe Miles opened up the Offense after that TD to show people that when we need to we could still move the ball. If you get the chance go back and rewatch that drive how well JJ ran the Offense on that drive.

I Say! LSU 34 WVU 10

I Say!
