I think our team loves the challenge of LF. What we do t want is another team passing all over us. We will gladly accept the LF game. If we lose trying to stop him; that's ok. Anything better than our LBs trying to cover WRs all day.

Most teams we played are spread teams. The few teams who are more LSU style we have played better (see Bama game).

Defending will be the problem. I still see us winning by at least 2 TDs.

LSU did fine defending Bama until the 3 and outs took their toll. If LSU can move the ball, and control the clock some, that will keep the defense fresh....and should perform about as usual.

The Hog defense is terrible, particularly the run. Texas Tech, A&M, Alabama, Ole Miss, even Auburn carved up their defense at will.

Thank you. I don't understand all the piling on Steele. You don't complete six passes and run for 54 yards and expect your defense to hold the other team below 30.

I expect to see us try and run the football. never mind arky has a damn good run defense and a poor pass defense.

I expect us to as well....considering we have 2 amazing running backs

Interesting matchup for the LSU-Arkansas game:

Dan Skipper (6-10, 331) vs. Lewis Neal (6-2, 264)

I think Neal can get by the Big Man with leverage, moves, and speed rushes in one-on-one situations, but Arkansas does utilize the short passing game a lot, which negates a lot of opportunities to put pressure on the QB. So, I don't know if the pass-rush opportunities will be there, but it's an interesting matchup I'll keep an eye on.

In fairness, how many prime time/featured games has Arky played this year?

Stats don't tell the whole story you are correct...but it's not like Arkansas has a lock down defense...particularly of late.

Only one game hasn't been prime time.

Featured game that is a different story.

On pass rushes, I think Neal will be too fast for Skipper.

On Runs plays, I think Skipper will win the battle.

I think the biggest mismatches in this game, besides Talent.

LSU LB on Arkansas TE's.

Arkansas DB on LSU wr's.

LSU 31 Piggies 20. We will run to set up pass with difficult treading at first. We will break through at start of fourth. Arky wants it bad. But we have urgency. They are only fighting for a decent bowl. We are after much more:).

fixed it.

Although, at 5-4, they almost are a lock to make a bowl because they still play Missouri. The State game should be a toss-up....could go either way. They could finish 7-5 for sure.

ha! We continue to run the ball after being stopped. I agree with your assessment of thus game. It will be ugly and much closer than most expect.
