The fact is that LSU did nothing right after that call. THAT IS LSU'S FAULT, not the refs'.

When that call didn't go our way the game was all but over........YES there was a 3rd and 7 after the blown call, and YES Bama converted on it, but they shouldn't have had the opportunity to have a 3rd and 7.......
I think Bama is a good football team, but I don't think they were better than us. A lot factored into Bama taking the lead, like injurys to JJ and CS and Cramps to PP....
The refs blew it once on that drive. LSU blew it twice on the same drive. But you blame the refs?

Dude, I'm not owned at all.......
If LSU loses the game 15-21 and we have the opportunity to win the game........NOBODY is bitching and your orginal thread is legit.
FACT is that a blown call negated our opportunity to make a plays down the stretch...

I love the mentality of "If I can beat Bama on my Xbox", the obviously the coaching is the problem if they lose to them in real life.

If you can't say the refs cost us this game without using words like "if," "assuming," "maybe," etc., then the refs didn't cost you the game.

Actually it is just as obvious to everybody else that you are owned as it is obvious that PP made that interception.
That single call did not cost us the game. xiv is very wise.

Oh, OK. I'm not sure what you're aguing about then. It was a tough game, with a lot of breaks going Bama's way. But they made the big plays when the game was on the line, and we didn't. They were the better team last night.

I'm not taking anything away from Bama. They did beat us yesterday. But, you can't ignore that a "big time" player made a "big time" play in one of the most significant games when his team needed it! The kid plain and simple made a "great" play! Not to mention Saban and his staff made a huge mistake thrwing on that 3rd down and Chavis and the defense called him on it! I know LSU committed alot of self-inflicted wounds, but that int. could have been a game-changing play and well couldve led to a W for the Tigers!!! Bama was lucky to get out of there with a W! Plain and simple!

It cost us an opportunity to win a one score game and we would have had good field position too. I agree that it didn't lose us the game, but it killed a deserved opportunity. period.

XIV are you really that stupid...the 3&7, running into the kicker and the field goal would have been mute if the refs would have gotten the call right...you do not understand this...pp intercepted the ball - therefore, there would have been no field goal attempt...most on here and every where does not understand how it was not an interception...the opportunity with 5 mins to play was taken away...do you not understand this? who knows what may have happened, we will never find out...

agreed... you forgot to add--> and go for 2 to make it 7 points instead of 6 despite the fact that Bama had only scored 1 TD, and have been struggling in the red area. Instead LSU missed the conversion, lose momentum, and are only up by 5 which changes the complexion of the game when Bama kicks the FG and are only down by 2.

So the refs missed ZERO calls against LSU. They had NO blocks in the back, or holding or DID NOTHING wrong that the refs missed?????

Would have, if, assuming, blah blah blah...it's 3rd and 7. Stop them. Period. If you want to pretend that the refs didn't miss that call and go play that drive on your Xbox, go ahead and let us know how it worked out. If you score a touchdown, congratulations; you'll get a cookie.
