I will root for anyone against Bama. Florida, OU, USC, it doesnt matter to me.

I want an SEC team in the NC. If Bama wins then it's done. If Florida wins they better win big.
If it can't be LSU then let it be SEC.
I also like the fact that LSU is the only team with 2 Crystal Balls, so I guess I'll hold my nose and pull reluctantly for Bama.

I think Gayturds are better overall team and will represent the SEC best in the NCG. With that said I still want Bama to win their bowl game, along with every other SEC team.

i'm rooting for a powerful yet long lasting intestinal virus for both teams.
until this year, florida was my most hated team. it's been that way since '94. now, this year i think bama surpassed them.
bama fans are like florida fans and then on top of that they have a sense of entitlement that is off the charts. they are the bad guy in the movie.

Bama, I always pull for the west.

I am an LSU fan, I dont give a rats arse about having another SEC team win the NC. If it's Florida thats fine, but Bama is a clear rival in the same division and recruits against LSU. I see no benefit for LSU in Bama winning anything.

Gaytors...
I think that their team, and fans, are a much better ambassador for the SEC in BCSNCG than the Gumps ....hands down. I don't want the Nation judging the SEC by what Bama would bring to Miami.

Florida, and it has nothing to do with Saban. I actually like Saban, but I despise the arrogance of Bama fans.
I agree with you. I have to work with Bama fans and they are alomost as arrogant and fickle as UK fans.

Couldn't an objective fan (LSU, AL, GA, FL, or any other) recognize and admit that all of the adjectives above rightly describe some members of their respective fan bases, regardless of what board they're on?
Of course we have some arrogant a-holes who embarrass the rest of us. And you don't?
I'm sure you have met some of these a-holes in Tuscaloosa. But I would never run into the same at Tiger Stadium, right?
There is no swagger in LSU when you're winning? If you had beaten us this year, you wouldn't be rubbing it in our faces? Of course you would, and our fans would be complaining about the arrogant, idiot, a-holes at LSU.
At Bryant-Denny last year I sat with several LSU fans. Nicest people I've ever met. We talked some friendly smack, mixed with "atta boys" when our respective teams did well. When the game was over, we shook hands, I congratulated them on the win and wished LSU the best in the pursuit of a National Championship. I enjoyed the game with these folks even though you kicked our butt. The better team won. I was sorry we lost but I didn't go away hating anyone. And in the NCG against the Buckeyes, I became a LSU fan for one night and cheered for the Tigers. I'll do the same this year in whatever bowl game you play.
On game day, you put on your colors; I'll put on mine. You pull for your team; I'll do the same. Let the better team win. When its over, let's shake hands, go eat some pizza, talk some friendly smack, and do it again next year.
Can't we all just get along?

Not only will I be rooting for Urban Cryer and the Gaytors to beat Alabama, here's a few other teams, groups, and people (in no particular order) I'd be rooting for if they were playing Alabama.
1. Southern Cal
2. The Coalition of Overpaid CEOs
3. Association of Known Child Molestors
4. Tulane
5. The Demons of Satan
6. Bitch Alimony Grubbing Ex-Wives Club
7. The Iraqi National Guard
8. U-la-la
9. Welfare Scum of America
10. Tonya Harding

I'll take the Bama hate in this thread as a compliment to Alabama's tradition of winning. Saban is the latest in a line of great coaches to take Alabama to the promised land. He'll be the 5th coach to lead Alabama to a National Championship.
What's topical is bama references to their tradition of winning... what is alarming is they are actually winning THIS YEAR
BTW, at present bama has 4 different coaches to win a national championship at their school... and LSU has 3 different coaches with the same distinction.... just an interesting side note I think

Florida wins by 30 or more

That's a sweet story. But from my experiences, even with friends who are Bama fans, is that arrogance seeps from their pores. Even in down years, they would downplay anything LSU did with great Bama teams of the past. These experiences have made me look forward to the day when enough time has passed that there are no more Bama fans who were alive during the Bear years to talk my ear off about the glory days.
