I hear ya ATL, but to me this is a rare situation where him being at Nebraska is just extremely hard to win. I’ve also seen him when he has a team and can get a lil bit of talent and love the way his offense runs. Most cases I’d agree because of his lack luster record the first couple years but I think this may be a special case, but I certainly get why ppl may think otherwise

And for me I believe ya need two things, first to win, and second an exciting brand of basketball. At least his style of ball and offense are exciting to watch and may kickstart a reason for people to start attending our home games.

The Wade ship has sailed, guys. There is no good reason for him to come back and some of us still can’t let go. Lamenting is how you miss out on opportunity. Move on, seriously.

Did anyone mention Todd Golden’s primary assistant, he’s at San Francisco as head coach, Chris Gurlefson, would definitley be a gamble but maybe worth it?

I think he was mentioned a few pages back. I added him to my list. Gerlufsen would definitely be a risk. He took over a program that was doing pretty well under Golden. He gets credit for continuing that success, but I think theres still a really big chance that he ends up being exposed once he has to build his own program. He'll probably get looked at by someone looking for a coach, but I think there's a few safer options before we make that call

Its the same reason why I would be apprehensive about a name like Bill Armstrong. Sure, he's continuing the success of his previous coach. But its very much unknown how much of that is his own doing vs being set up for success by the previous coach. I think its fair to say that whoever takes over after Mcmahon won't have much to build off of
