And you missed the TD key phrase… “free money”.

Time to take the LSU ML.

Posts like this crack me up. Supposed "free money" is what keeps sportsbooks raking in billions

You think the books don't know that when they set the line?

I mean I think Kentucky wins but also this Kentucky team is not that good. Will they cover? Probably. But they're playing in only their third true road game this year (they lost the other two, granted to much better teams than LSU) and are 1-3 away from Rupp. They're 7-9 against the spread this year. They've lost 3 games this year they were favored in and are only 6-6 against the spread as favorites. Again they very well could cover and if you feel like betting on it go ahead no ones stopping you, but there's a reason that line is where it is. Vegas isn't stupid.
The real question is whether the administration uses these injuries as an excuse to give Mcmahon another year
This feels like this has happened quite a bit the last few years. A player goes down and is "day to day". All of a sudden "day to day" becomes out for a month

UCLA is No. 1 in the D1Baseball Preseason Top 25. Led by 2025 D1Baseball Player of the Year Roch Cholowsky, the Bruins return eight everyday regulars and 10 of their top 12 innings leaders on the mound from a team that won 48 games and reached the College World Series last year

Am I dreaming or did UCLA have a ton of retention in their lineup last year as well?
Bill literally just makes shite up depending on what he wants to happen

I didn’t realize South Carolina had a good team

Thats the scary thing. They dont
Is edwards trying to throw the game? He's acting like a fricking retard

Surely people see the derangement syndrome

Its not derangement syndrome. Its that we have been here before and been let down. Literally just last year

2022: 11-1 going into SEC play. Won the first SEC game and then proceeded to lose 14 in a row

2024: 11-2 going into SEC play. Proceeded to then go 3-15 in SEC play.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Not getting fooled a third time. CMM has a lot to prove before fans are just willing to get their hopes up and buy into the team and beating up on a bunch of cupcakes aint gonna do it
What active construction site have you seen that "looks good"? I think the project is going as expected and will look good when it is complete. Thats like driving on a road they're redoing and saying "this road is rough, what a failed project"
For once I'm actually going to defend this one. The schedule has been out and publicly available for a couple years now, its not their fault that the public didn't pay attention what they made publicly available. As far as the cost, the lakes are massive and anyone complaining about the cost of the actual construction doesn't work in the engineering or construction industry because those costs are in line with dredging projects

Eta: they have also utilized quite a bit of federal funding for this project through grants and the LWI program. That money doesn't move quick and can often get held up for numerous reasons. No money = no work
Serious question, who actually lives in this district. The district seems to gerrymander around residential homes, so where are these supposed people who didn't get a vote living?

ETA re-read the article and pulled this: According to the suit, as of February 2024, 125 voters were registered within the economic development district. Nine voters were registered to 3810 West Lakeshore Drive -- which is the address for the LSU Administration Building. 115 other voters were registered to LSU's campus, and one voter was registered to 3930 Burbank Drive, which is the South Gate Village strip mall next to Walk-Ons.

So it sounds like most of these voters are students/faculty that registered to vote using their on campus housing addresses

What a stupid f’n expenditure. The return on this will be dogshit at best.

This is just incorrect. LSU on average charges around $5500 per semester per student for housing. That's $11,000 per year per bed. Assuming this building will go 20+ years before needing renovations or repairs and you're currently missing out on revenue due to not being able to accomodate students on campus, its not a bad investment.

You seem to enjoy when we get fricking raped by any team with half a pulse. Is your expectation of lsu basketball so fricking low that simply playing the game is enough for you?

I would not bank on 9-9 even getting us in the tournament with how bad the SEC looks this season. It's seriously taken a gigantic step back. IF we go with just 1 loss in non-conf, maybe, but we would be nowhere near a 6/7 seed with a 9-9 conference record

The SEc might only be a 6 or 7 bid league this season.

I seriously disagree with this. The SEC currently has the most top 50 teams in the NET rankings, Ken Pom rankings, and Evan Miya. Every metric shows that the SEC is currently the deepest conference. Is the league overall as good as last year? No, but to say its a "gigantic" step back is nonsense. The SEC will still get somewhere around 10 bids.
Boston College will be an away game and the other two are neutral games so BC will be a Q3 game and the other two will be Q1 games
They played extremely well on both sides of the ball against Depaul. The next three games (maybe not Boston college because they're pretty terrible) should give a better glimpse into how this team performs against better competition. But so far, so good
I still don't quite understand what the media is so fricking up in arms about. Lane made it clear that he wanted to continue coaching at OM through the playoffs. OM said no, which they felt like was best for them. Wtf was Kiffin supposed to do? Refuse to leave and scew over the school even more?
