There were zero cops at highland and state street when the whole thing went down right at 7pm.
About 40 mins later 30-40 cop cars came from 3 directions to break up the mob.
About 30-40 mins after it was broke up the shooting happened by chimes st.

Also, the amount of people that are stopping by asking for free waters, food, alcohol etc and trying to steal things from our setup has gotten out of hand this year as well.
Our group had this exact experience and I posted about this a few weeks back. We were definitely tailgate neighbors with y’all but our group moved across the street close to the cow palace because we were tired of dealing with that BS. I have no idea what has happened this year but it’s out of control.

That’s absurd if true.
But I bet Kyle in Kappa Sig got his day of reckoning for trying to take a Jell-O shot in his sophomore year at LSU!

Interesting, I used to tailgate with a group at that corner for years. I make about 1 game a year these days, and this year will be a road game. That said…I went last year and didn’t notice anything different from the norm. It’s sad that the norm always included kids from the hood walking up with a box of candy to sell and shite like that.
I never thought that tailgating in that area would mean taking a risk.

We’re almost at the point in saying F it and not doing it anymore. I think if nothing changes for the A&M game, it may be the end of the road for us and I’m sure a lot of other people are feeling the same way.
And some random girl nobody knew after the game raided one of our ice chests and tried walking off with a handful of beer and seltzers and when somebody caught her and called her out on it she acted like we were the assholes and threatened to get her “homeboys” to come beat our arse.
I hate to sound like the old guy on the block but this younger generation is ridiculously entitled. I guess it’s just that liberal mindset that has been instilled in them.

We tailgate near the Greek theater and that was AWFUL for the LA Tech game. It was constant.
