False. They played 2 QBs like him before that game. The offense couldn’t do a thing because Elko was gifted the ability to pressure up the middle when Dellinger was injured . When the offense has the ball and controls the game it takes pressure off the defense.

Same way he got talent at ND: the school has a reputation for elite play and the staff has some very good recruiters. AND, now LSU has gotten aggressive about buying elite talent from the portal .
