Les Miles doesn't think like that. It would be beyond his scruples to even consider playing that game. He kept Crowton because last year was his first sup par offensive performance. There was more than the scheme to blame (poor quaterback play, poor offensive line play). In all fairness and for the sake of continuity he should have been given another year. Now after this year without vast improvement in the remaining games he has got to go.

For a large portion of this fanbase, including a great number of posters on this board, Nick Saban is still their coach.

then why did he get rid of the co-DCs after 08? why not give them one more chance?

Why is this question always asked? Better question should be whether Crowton will be the OC next season, except that's a daily thread too.

Crowton is not the scapegoat...Crowton is the problem....
Everywhere Crowton has been... his next year has been worst that the past one.
