Unfortunately its not just about what happens in BR. If other areas (NO for instance) get slammed resulting in LSU being a center of the relief efforts and the PMac is being used as a triage facility, the game will not be held across the street on Saturday.

Without question. Not only an additional AU preparation game, but a road game at that.

If this game is moved to Indy. Stadium, how would they make the ticket issue work? Students get x'd out?

Auburn used that game as a way of healing after the storm
No - Auburn dud not want to play us later that season. Saban wanted to move the game to later in the season and Tuberville would not allow it

Didn't Auburn play LSU just a couple days after Hurricane Ivan in Auburn, AL. Ivan devastated the Bama coast
Yes,but Auburn is a good ways from the shoreline.Ivan cut a path throughout the state with damage, but Auburn/Lee County wasn't really a big part of recovery/triage,etc.

One of the reasons its important to play this game before we play Auburn is that Troy runs the exact same offense Auburn runs. Tony Franklin was at Troy before he took the Auburn OC job and left an assistant who was with him for a few years as OC at Troy. The formations and basic schemes are exactly the same.

I agree that it would be great to play the game Saturday, but if there is any relief/triage stuff going on at LSU it won't happen. Hopefully the storm won't cause as much damage and hurt so many as to require such measures.
