Absolutely this. There are coaches out there who are better at basketball systems who can build this program up. We can be a stepping stone for some period before we have our coach that will be consistent winner.

What happened was an outgoing players fiancé and that player broke up. The fiancé started to threaten Wade that she’d go to the press and claim he was paying players. He paid her extortion money but when the NCAA investigated to find out if her ex had been paid or who the players were that she claimed got paid they didn’t find anything. So he was hit with the violation of paying the girl through his wife’s account. The other two violations were derivatives of not cooperating with the investigation.

It’s hilarious that this board carries the water for the girlfriend for criminal activity, the NCAA for handing down violations for the girlfriends criminal activity and Scott for firing due to an extortion attempt.

classic reverse psychology...Wade wants to be back in the SEC and he prefers that it be with LSU. His comments are more of a referendum of the former administration than the current admin. In other words, you have to be able to read between the lines when you see comments like this.

Most of them just followed sensationalized conjecture in the media. None if them actually followed the Dawkins case or read the findings on Wade so they just repeat these ridiculous talking points

That’s how I took it as well. He’s taking shots at Woody and Alleva like he always does and should. In an interview his first season at Mcneese he said he understood why he was let go based on the information the admin had at the time but Woody smearing him in the press and to LSU fans changed that.

Get ur facts straight. He paid an x girlfriend of a player from a previous school that was extorting him with money from his wife’s checkbook. He did not pay lsu players from her checkbook. This was a non issue,had no bearing on this situation.
