Going with Jump today and Holman game 2 also has the potential to have a ton of your bullpen available for the rest of the regional. You can also come back with Jump for a few innings on extremely short rest if in a pinch.
If you go with Ack today and he struggles, you could end up using 7 or 8 arms today.

Skip was also used to playing a 6 seed who in those days was almost always trash. Skip also said do whatever you have to do to remain in the winner's bracket.

With nil and the portal the pendulum is swinging back the other way

Trying to squeak out a win to save bullpen arms is exactly how you FAFO and end up in the losers bracket.

You know how you save bullpen arms? Have jump shove it down their throat. Then you don't have risk getting into a knife fight with a team who steals a ton and suddenly you have burned through bullpen. Wofford is not a shitty 4 seed.

Their starter has a 1.75 WHIP. If we cant get by them with our B arms then we don't deserve to win the regional
