Odd to do it after a loss to a team we haven't lost to in 35 years. Why not get it done in August or September? Or maybe January ? That was the offseason.

My goodness, you people will reach for anything you want to believe. A baseball extension doesn't have shite to do with a loss in football. Is there nothing relevant that happened in college baseball in the past week or so that would make you want to lock up a coach? Doesn't that seem more logical???

I agree. It would appear to me that he calls pitches for guys based on what he perceives their potential as, and not what they are currently producing. That drives people crazy. I don’t think the pitch calling complaint will ever go away if we have developing guys on the mound.
