Brush up on your knowledge. Corbin has already turned LSU down once before

But , will everybody else improve under changes to the current system or will LSU fall further behind. A question to ponder

LSU has been called out by opponents because of the unfair advantage provided by Louisiana with the TOPs scholarships.

Assistant to Tim Corbin for years, young coach on a strong come up, brought a team to the finals in the CWS who has not been since 1966 or even relevant for that matter in modern history. This would be an absolute home run. Come on Scotty....

Yeah that Vandy assistant worked great for Tulane....Just hire Corbin.

Many states now have a program similar to tops. But that only helps louisiana athletes.

I like the guy from Texas Tech. I think if we can Mainieri, he definitely gets a look.

A lot of people like Tadlock
He’s a good coach
He’s not leaving his alma mater

Maybe if he brought some of those durable arms with him.

Would be nice to have pitchers start and finish a season.

Corbin has to be at a school with a mega endowment. It's the only way his recruiting formulation works.

I don’t want a leftist coach who recruits a team that “looks like America”. I want a coach that recruits players to win championships.

The BOS made a terrible hire in Woodward when they could have had their pick of elite athletic administration minds that are present on the Rant.

That dude rode two arms to the championship and pitched them on 4 days consistently.

Not accurate.
Karl Kaufman started May 31st in the Regional. Didn’t pitch again until June 7th at the UCLA Super Regional.
Then June 15th, 21st and 26th(3 innings).

Tommy Henry: June 2nd, 9th, 17th, 24th.

Criswell: June 1, June 7th(2/3 of an inning), June 8th, June 15th(2 innings), June 21st (3 innings), June 24th (2/3 of an inning) June 26th (5 inning)

One guy got used on short rest in very short relief roles for the most part. This was hardly abuse to any pitcher let alone all 3.

Skip spoiled LSU fans back when college baseball just wasn't that important. Baseball is not a sport where you can just line up faster, stronger athletes and beat everyone. That is what makes college baseball great.
Mainieri is a proven winner in the toughest conference in the land . He made the final 16 this year and was in the finals 2 years ago with significant injuries in both of those runs and we are looking for a replacement . Not to mention drafted players who may not know as much as rant posters returning for their Junior/Senior years to play for the coach that needs replacing.
Careful what you wish for.

I'm afraid you're right. He's our Ron Polk.

Hub, you’re so silly. That’s not happening. Where you people come from. Are you still in HS.
