If anything Miles is underrated
Miles is mediocre at best....nothing above that. So therefore he can't be underrated. Saban was underrated at Michigan State, Urban Meyer was underrated at Utah.....

Richt is overrated in that he hasn't won a NC with UGA, but he has played in a tougher division over the last 5 years (and now it's reversed). He has won 2 SEC titles in 10 years. That's about a Leslie pace if you ask me. Yes, we already have the equivalent. I would still rather have him because he's still a great recruiter and is an offensive mind where as Leslie has good recruiters on his staff and is just a mind.
Tubby, I'd welcome him with open arms. I like the way the man plays D. I like his pedigree. I am over 1999 and two awful teams playing each other with us coming out on the embarrassment end. If you want to be mad at someone for that game, be mad at DiNardo and Watts for shooting Davey's confidence like it was a lame duck. The cigar incident bothers me to this day about as much as Geeorge H Bush saying, "Read my lips."

Great LSU fan you are....
i know...because i made some comment about a situation that will never happen about a douchebag that will never be our coach...im horrible. I guess i could be an awesome fan and bash our ACTUAL coach by starting shitty threads and making dumbass posts while hiding behing the moniker of "realist".

Dude has won appromixately 77 percent of his games. That's not winning? What is winning to you, genius?

I'd rather Sarkisian from Washington.

I like Tubby's attitude. Didn't like his teams as i hated him, but i think he has the right sideline demeanor but i think he needs some good assistants to help him out. Richt cannot compete at Georgia so i really don't feel he'd be more than mediocre here as well. Nice guy, just don't think he has what it takes to make it through that glass ceiling he has hit.

I've always liked TT's sideline demeanor as well. He comes across as a cool customer at all times.
I actually think TT is a better coach than Richt.

wait....i thought you had to yell, chew some arse, and rip peoples heads off to be considered a good coach?

Firstly, I fully expect that LSU will be better on offense this season and will go 9-3 or better in the regular season.
I'll be disappointed with 9-3. Seriously, if people would look at how all of the circumstances played out over the past two seasons(Perrilloux,Pelini,Jarrett Lee & Chavis), we're trending towards great things. I know we will be in Atlanta in December, the only question is will we be undefeated or will we have one loss.

I believe - partly due to his own miscues - Miles has become arguably one of the most underrated coaches in college football.
Couldn't agree more. I'll take Miles over Richt all day long. Richt is a pussy. Coach Miles may be clumsy as hell when he speaks, but he damn sure ain't no pussy. I loved it back on signing day in '07 when he said, "So five from Texas, we took four from Florida. We took two from Alabama. You bet your arse ... We're looking forward to playing Florida. We're looking forward to playing Auburn, but we have a new rival in fricking Alabama."

no way. the only coaches id take over Les are Saban and Meyer

You don't. That's just what a segment of LSU fans like to see in a coach.

He is a good coach. I never thought of him as being a dick. Oscar Meyer deserved that dance in the endzone on his team a few years back.

True ... the same reason for all the man-love for Derek Dooley on this board when he hasn't won shite at Louisiana Tech.
A segment of the rantards think he looks "dashing" on the sidelines.
To them, that makes a good coach.
