Don't know why since JJ has started nearly as many games as MR did. Personally I'd have to flip a coin. JJ seems to have more upside but dern sure hasn't come close to showing it. Randall was not better as a senior than JJ was as a sophomore but he did have a stronger arm(see Bluegrass Miracle). JJ could never have made that throw(see Ole Mrs game last year).

No. Jefferson is about as effective as Randall ever was, and still has two more years of potential to get better.

Jefferson is a better qb imo. But as far as Marcus Randall goes I will never knock him. He left it all out on the field every game and thats all you can ask for. If his skills arent up to par thats the coaches fault they chose to give him a scholly. MR did have some very nice perfomances off the top of my head the 04 comeback in the swamp when Russel started and threw what 3 ints in the 1st half. Also his final sec game at Arkansas was a really good game.

I could maybe interchange Flynn for Mauck because of Mauck's propensity to disappear in big games, for example Ole Miss. Other than that, it's a quality list.

He had a couple. USCe in Tiger Stadium for what I belive was his first start. Other than that, he's one of my least favorite LSU QB's of all time, alongside Josh "dive for the pilon" Booty.
