It's nice to see people talking about basketball and being excited about it. Over the last several years, watching basketball games have been miserable at the PMAC. I'm excited to see people talking about basketball improving than bitching about JJ/JL.

I'm with you on that one. I've Just seen LSU more as a football 1st, baseball second school. It seemed that they were trying to give away tickets to get people to go to a game when I was in college

Isn't there athleticism (or is that some code word) and team play in every team sport?
Team play: Baseball is one of the most individualistic team sports there is.

It's basically still like that.
I work there and the attendance has been miserable the last couple years except for tonight. It was a great W for the program.

I can get into all the Big 3 sports, but each serves a different purpose for me.
Basketball is the most climatic i think, with many lead swings, and it seems like half the games come down to the wire. The problem is, there are so many games that do not matter, as compared to football. I usually get more into it closer to the tourney/NBA finals.

I don't mind knowing exactly what each players job is. When I've tried to watch they've all blended together in the action.

Sure, each player bats individually and has an individual position, but they have to achieve as a team to pull it out.
Maybe it's the crowded, fast paced nature of bball that is turning me off from watching,

But I can go for a beer and not miss 20 points going up on the board.
Damn, how far away is your fridge?

It struck me as "if they are basically begging me to go watch this game, is it really that interesting?" seemed kind of desperate. We're we that bad? I just never heard much about it, other than some buzz about "big baby" a few years back.

All 3 sports are fun to watch, and we've been suffering watching this team for 2 years, especially people like myself that watch every game even when we are losing, this was a nice Christmas treat!! Man it feels good to be a Tiger!!!

Fridge, take a leak, whatever. It was hyperbole, but I haven't really been invested in watching them either. It seems that there are basketball games on every day of the week. (not just LSU) and they all kind of blend together.

Usually twice a week, usually one of those 2 is on the weekend.

Y'all have convinced me to give tiger bball another shot. What is a good game to watch and where should I watch it? Any tips to be able to enjoy it better?

If LSU had a curling team, it would still be life and death to me. I don't understand LSU fans who only follow football.
This. Pretty sad that most of our fanbase doesn't feel like this.

What is the atmosphere like at the games? I'd have to find someone to go with, and i'd rather get a feel for watching it before I commit to that. I'm soooooo rusty on my bball.

Played as on a real team in HS +? Nope. Outside garages and at recess, yes. I used to love some 21.

Do you follow the LSU golf or the women's swim team? Not all people enjoy all sports equally

Dude seriously, just watch plays develop, watch the individual ball technique and the exciting slams and big time 3 balls, and watch for physical in your face defense and big time blocks... shite is hype
