Even beyond that, the rankings don't justify all the low ranking players he spotted, recruited, and landed that ended up being stellar.

Exactly, Apex - the spoiled jealousy of LSU fans is unrivaled. Don't get me wrong, I'm a "transplant" who has fallen in love with everything LSU in the past 10 years or so. Hell, even when the team is struggling, you can't beat LSU gameday. Appreciate what you have. A great program with TWO crystal balls, and an amazing gameday experience, regardless of the team's performance. I've been around diehard fans of OU, Texas, Notre Dame, Michigan...the rantardedness is not even close.
Funny thing is...alot of these guys clamoring about the failure of our current Co-DC situation are blowing a load over a Chavis-Eddie O combo. Would it be better than Malleveto? I sure as frick hope so...but it goes against the "core" of your argument that sharing the position creates problems. Don't get me wrong - those 2 guys are head & shoulders above our current guys as far as their resumes, but don't kid yourself that there wouldn't be some major power struggles given their personalities.

Are you fricking kidding me?! Considering he was trying to convince 18 year olds to committ 3-5 years of their life to OXFORD frickING MISSISSIPPI, I'd say that's fairly strong (for some reason, I'm hearing Colin Farrell saying "fricking Bruges?!) "fricking Oxford?!"
And finally, Cene...
I'm really not your typical "grammar Nazi" guy, but this is freaking turrible...
