This thread and getting angry over the situation is just a waste of y'all's time fellas. We all know not a damn thing is gonna get thrown Bama's way. Just the nature of the beast

quote:actually, it's just that our prior head coach ran a predictable and antiquated offense that caused us to lose more games than we should have.
It's so deflating how things turned out after The Rematch, when we went from the top of the college football world to being actively torn down from multiple assaults both outside the program and within.
That's the reason for the decline.

So this is nothing new, I got the impression that this broke today, and you were presenting something new. Instead it's from 2013.....ok.

Hiring hookers isn't against NCAA laws. Ole Miss's sanctions had nothing to do with this.

This is like when a parent threatens a child with a punishment so bad that they don't want to have to enforce it. The NCAA knows that it would have to give Bama the death penalty if it actually conducted a real investigation, so it just ignores it.

I mean, I hate Alabama as much as the next guy, but how was this report any different than the report earlier this year that Tim Quarterman and Jarell Martin got money from agents?

A photograph of one balance sheet, with a subheading that reads "Loans to Players," shows monetary sums allegedly given to players as of Dec. 31, 2015. Quarterman is listed as having received $16,000 while an LSU junior during the 2015-16 season. Martin was listed on a photo of the balance sheet with a loan of $52,472.52. It is unclear whether his loan was issued while he was still a college athlete or after he turned pro following the 2014-15 season.

No shite. College football was just fine when Alabama had Dubose and Shula running the program into the dirt.

So I assume Tenn and Moo State forfeited games as a result of this??

You people are hilarious. Reporting Alabama to the NCAA is like reporting Hillary to the FBI
I know! Tuthill cited Fox News exactly zero times! Obviously it was Obama’s doing and this is “fake news” because true journalists didn’t report on this issue.
Another example of mainstream media pushing an agenda.
ETA: Just realized that my sarcasm may not come across as such here.

Nothing ever seems to happen to them, even when they have been flat out caught before.
