He's ready to get significant snaps, he's not ready to start and lead the team.

Did you actually watch the game or just listen to Jordy...

He was listening to Doug Greenguard and Rene Nadeau - they get player's names wrong 75% of the time, maybe they thought Lee was Jefferson and he heard how Jefferson led us to a great comeback?

I can name about 7 passes why Jarrett Lee is ready to play yet too! What I liked about JJ is the fact that when he missed, it was low and didnt sail which means NO PICK 6! Plus he can scramble and played with alot of passion. Neither QB is ready but both have to help each other out. They should give each other time on the sideline to learn a few plays, RUN THEM while the other guy is getting ready and just go back and forth. Neither guy is ready and both bring a different threat to the table but at least when JJ throws it, he doesnt sail it or loft it or force it!

By the way all you guys saying he's not were crying for him when it was 31-3. I watched the whole game start to finish. Bet many of you can't say that. Anyway thats my opinion.

i wasnt crying for him when it was 14-3 much less 31-3..matterof fact after watching him taking his 10 snaps i was crying not to see him...point being without JL we lose last night.

Yes Jordan is ready

You base this on the pass he threw behind a wide open T. Toliver that would have been an important drive sustainer. Or the other inaccurate throws he made? The attempt at a run that got him tackled then he "flushed" himself out of the pocket while he had a wide open reciever in the flat? WTF do you base this on? The one time he scored on a run for 2 yards? You need more reasons than you've provided to convince me that he is ready...shame on you Do you really think he could have led us for four scoring drives in one quarter? J. Lee as sad as it may be, is still our best option at QB with Hatch out. heck even with hatch in he's still the best option. Next year he's going to be outstanding mark my words.

I share the frustration with Lee, but Miles may be more correct than I imagined after seeing JJ.

What a revelation. I can't believe that Coach Miles knows something about his own team more so than the average fan!

JJ could've been in earlier in the RP role from last year. I wanted to see him play and was glad I got to last night. He's definitely not ready or "capable" of being the guy getting the majority of snaps.

Should Miles have played him more earlier in the season? Yes, as a change of pace.

Should he play more than Lee? No.

It looked to me like his ball dived. I'm not sure how you throw a spiral that appears to have the nose pointed more down than level, but TO ME on TV, that's what his ball looked like.

after 5-6 pass attempts, what a helluva observation.

Jefferson should see playing time the rest of the year. I hope you are correct that he will be a great QB, but saying that he is "ready" right now is a very big stretch.

Let's be honest, stop talking about who is or isn't ready. JJ is NOT ready to start and lead this team. JL is also NOT ready to start or lead this team.

We currently don't have ANY QB that is truly READY! We have a RS frosh and a TRUE frosh, neither of which is currently ready to consistently play well enough to beat good teams. JJ threw 6 passes and fans are already saying "I told you so". LSU's problem is not the fact that we lack a QB that is a play-maker. We simply don't have a QB that is capable of MANAGING the game. Hatch is the best QB at that and he is hurt. We have a good enough rushing attack and WR's that can turn short passes into long gains. I'm tired of people talking about JL's arm strength because it gets him in trouble more than it helps him out.

Worst thing this season was the misguided belief that JL would consistently duplicate that 2nd half Auburn performance. That Auburn game sent JL into the starting role and relegated Hatch to 2nd string. That was the undoing of what could have been a beautiful season. The only thing Lee has over Hatch is arm strength. Hatch is a better runner, better decision maker, shows more poise and leadership, and plays with more passion. We would have been better off with Hatch starting and JL playing some in a backup role. More like 60-40 Hatch-Lee.

Jesus, I wonder why LSU even bothers hiring coaches when the Rant knows so much about these players.
