The line let JJ down last year. Take a real look at his games, he did hold onto the ball a little long and needs to make quicker decisions but that comes with experience. He and Lee should show improvement from last year and if the O commits to running the ball there will be significant improvement.

Dont hold back you idiot! You dont have a clue! JJ has 2 years of SEC experience and is already comfortable in "the system". You can not and will not throw a true freshman in with a mature SEC QB who is making strides with his game. He is physically tough.... wittnessed in the Bama Game last year and mentally tough witnessed in the Ga Tech game! Z Lee may have the attributes but his time will be better served on the sideline or possibly in LA playing for the Dodgers....sorry!

I hope you are right about JJ. He has to really
improve over last year he looked like a deer in
head lights at times, very confused. Maybe the
Manning Boys helped him at their camp. I really hope so. There is nothing I would like better than to see JJ win more than 9 games.

Wow ... great conclusion. Just because no one thinks a true freshman is going to walk in and take the starting QB position, that doesn't mean he isn't liked, or won't be a great QB in due time.

Not all freshmen perform poorly in the SEC, it depends on the team that surrounds him.
If he limits mistakes and has a quick release LSU has the play makers and running backs to have a successful season. If the offensive line performs better then it could be a great season.
Of course that could be said for all of the QB's on the roster but just because he would be a true freshmen does not mean LSU will automatically suck. Too much talent on both sides of the ball and Z. Lee is a talented player.

My prediction is ZLee will probably be a decent QB maybe not as great as all the fans anointing him as the savior think he will be. He will not play next year. He will then develop during spring practice, Oh wait, he won't practice in the spring because he will be pitching.
