For my wife account got the dreaded request for signature guarantee
Got a letter few weeks ago said they take 13 weeks
Assuming they don't want to sell those 9% bonds

I had a very difficult time earlier this year. Required a medallion signature from my financial institution (bank). Then I got locked out of my account. Used my wife’s account to gift myself the $10k. Website is atrociously outdated.

I guess I'm permanently locked out. I wish you could still buy paper bonds. I don't have hours to sit on hold.

Do notarized copy with letter saying financial form would not give signature guarantee got shot down.

I had this issue on my account when I opened it months ago so what I did was buy a gift for me through my wife’s account and then transferred it over once my account was finally good to go.
