Pretty impressive stuff.
I wonder if this is finally the end.
Look at PG’s last company (SCMP) prior to buyout.
Chart starting to look similar.

That was some good AH news followed by substantial volume. I bet we see a good number of shares bought at close tonight.

This news?
quote:
Aurinia Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ: AUPH) (Aurinia or the Company) today announced that the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has allowed a method of use patent application titled IMPROVED PROTOCOL FOR TREATMENT OF LUPUS NEPHRITIS. Aurinia’s newly allowed U.S. Patent Application (No. 17/713,140) reflects the unique and proprietary dosing regimen of its currently marketed product, LUPKYNIS. Specifically, this patent further refines the method of using LUPKYNIS in combination with mycophenolate mofetil (MMF) and corticosteroids using eGFR as a method of pharmacodynamically dosing the product in patients with lupus nephritis

Yes! There should be no questions regarding the patent. That’s the bow. This thing is ready to sell.

The interesting part.... why settle with Sun when you know this is coming... you only do that to tie up loose ends necessary for a buy out... otherwise, take Sun to cleaners

Everything is now in place. Lets see how it shakes out.

Strange action today for sure.
Have you been able to average down to around $15 yet?
I’m fully loaded and ready for a big move.
What possible news is left other than the end game? Option grants?

I sold out a way before it bottomed. Took a big ol tax loss
Holding a bunch of options I bought as soon as settlement news came out. If BO happens, I'll make everything back plus some

This target would be such a let down given the hold time. 6-7 years and 4-5x is a trash return. That would be right around S&P ROI over the same period, not to mention the $150m raise those folks wouldn’t see 3x roi.
I’ve essentially talked myself into this: if greenleaf wants to save face with his investors with a career post AUPH and friends to finance those deals, he will need to push for $35 floor $50-55 ceiling or he will be thrown to the wolves post close.

I have been doing CC's and cash covered puts for about a year and a half. I added the premiums I have been pocketing and It comes up to about $5500.00. I have 1000 shares that is from house money. Not sure how my $30 CC for 1/19/24 would come out if BO occurs. Any thoughts?

Greenleaf likely doesn't give a rats arse after he closes this one. Dude should be sitting on well over 100M

No way they get $30+ in my opinion
Unless script numbers start suddenly exploding, they just suck at selling this drug -- to patients AND doctors
As great as Lupkynis is, it was horrible timing to expect parabolic patient uptake for an $80k drug as we plunge into a recession
Pts and doctors are basically saying: "you can feel 90% better but you'll be flat broke, or you can feel 50% better on traditional Rx (or Benlysta) and still have some money left"

Price is being pegged. Unless a bunch of longs giving up now. Doubt that
It's why I think 27 max
