What's with the drop? I'm sorta waiting on a good jump-in. If it's going to keep declining, I'll hold longer.

the next catalyst will be sales numbers.. and people would rather chase after bullshite like Gamestop

I think you're correct. This is just giving me more time to buy more shares with each paycheck I get.

this price action makes no sense to me.. I guess retail that fomo'd in on the announcement yesterday are panicking and dumping at a loss...?

Yes the movement itself was expected. But I thought it'd be at a higher level.
Lots of people jumped in Friday and Monday for the quick money.
It'll continue to bleed until the buyout.

I guess you could call this bleeding..

Obviously it's not good. But the rest of my portfolio is kicking arse, so it's masking it for me. It will be $40 in the next six months. Whether it's via buyout or after that first quarter call (May).

Going to jump in at some point today.

Am I doing the math wrong? Why would anybody be selling this. Is at least undervalued by 2 billion and after we see some sales numbers it could be undervalued by 5-8 billion.

Fair enough.

Honestly I’m selling if it gets back to $18 (which it probably fricking wont). I’m kicking myself for not selling when it was at $20. I did this same shite last time it jumped and bled back out. Great company but I have too much tied up in it that I could put into other prospects in the short term. I’ve missed out on over 20k by not selling the highs on the past two pops alone. That’s not counting the possibilities of other profits that I traded in with lower capital. Great company but for whatever reason can’t hold its share price. If buyout talks heat up (which it probably will when I pull out) I’ll jump back in. Just fricking sucks when I think what SHOULD have been.
The more I thought about this the more it irked me. I’m well aware this is a “dear Facebook” post but regardless. This stock has hit low 20’s twice. Both times it steadily walked itself back. The spike after P3 was supposed to be the preview of the FDA approval. It lasted all of 2 days before retreating. All the longs “including me” thought the approval would be the one. The big one. The consensus was low 20’s. Once again it only held for 2 days. Now that it’s only 2-3 points from where it was originally everybody is saying the buyout will be the one. I’ve watched my Apple go up, split, and go up again. I’m not saying this is a bad stock. It’s not. But I can’t keep pretending this is the diamond in the rough when it keeps proving to me it’s not. There are many many better options out there. Kudos to you guys that have hung on and continue to do so. I wish you all the luck. At $18 I’m at out.

Why not sell $18 calls against your underlying right now? That way, if it goes to $18 or above, you get your price target and some additional premium, but if it goes back down, you at least collect some premium. The calls on this one have a nice premium right now. You can collect nearly a buck on the $20s.

I have no idea how calls work. Every time I think I have them figured out I get burned

Did I miss something? Why is Gamestop expected to moon?

I swear if this management does another offering to cap off this putrid approval "pump"....

So are we now in a "no buy" zone?
