I'm actually intersted in your view on this since it's clearly completely divergent with mine. There's no other explanation for your opinion other than you think what they are/have been doing is and will work again.

So you don't know.

quote:Are you fricking nuts? I quoted the treasury yields from the bond market close TODAY. Mother of god, you're stupid!
Which is why the 30-year U.S. government bond is only yielding 1.35% today and the 10-year bond is yielding less than .75%/year.
That happened for several years and is no longer the case.

I generally appreciate your posts as it is obvious you have worked in banking and are quite knowledgeable but you frequently come off as a pompous, haughty shitbag on a never ending quest for internet windmills to tilt at.

Tell him how you really feel.

Sometimes robust ignorance needs to be called out...

Though this is true I think he has been pretty much spot on in this argument. This is coming from someone who is not a big fan of him.

Who is the main buyer of Treasuries right now?
I'm literally trying to figure out your angle and you're spraying insults like you don't know what you are talking about. And I don't even believe that's true.

My only issue is I think his attitude can stymie legit discussion. On the O-T, everyone has a role to play and that is fine. Here, it would be nice to keep the ad hominem and grandstanding to a minimum.

If you read the first half dozen or so of my replies to wutang in this thread you would see I was very civil with him.
Only after he progressed to calling me out with his life partner, Hussss, who has proven himself to be a Money Board troll for several years, did I reply in kind to him.
Sorry if it offended you.

What did I call you out on exactly? You're melting because I defended somebody you hate. Nothing more, nothing less. I haven't said anything that isn't in normal macro discourse so it's pretty perplexing you can't just move past the China part of the discussion. I even told you it can't be verified and not everybody agrees on the CCPs reserve positioning.

No offense taken...just would rather you try to educate instead of denigrate.
