This is my thought as well. Gonna buy some this morning, ride it up a few % then sell before the day is out.

That's my "plan" anyway

It was a lot of fun for a long time. Nothing wrong with taking a break.

yep, I haven't played nat gas in quite a while...while I'm net up from when I started following this thread, I gave up when oil crashed. Too many variables/factors to understand for me.

I'm not trying to be rude, but aren't you trading like $100 on this?

So it's costing you more to make the trade than you actuallyafe profit. Sounds like you're losing money

I made a little over a dollar. I bought 4 shares this morning at 6.91 and had one other share already at 6.61. I sold all of them for 7.07.

I know this is chump change but it's fun and I'm just learning the ropes. As I become more confident I'll put more money on the line.

Also, I have separate retirement and investments accounts. I have a day job too. This is not how I make money. It is fun though.

Nothing wrong with that. A good way to learn with no real risk yet still having skin in the game. Was just confused when you said you made a 2% profit, and I recalled you only playing with minimal funds. Figured the commissions were eating you up.

About time to sell my DGAZ and switch sides after the report tomorrow. I expect another move like last week after the report comes out.

What do you think will cause UGAZ to shoot up tomorrow? FTR, I sold my position in DGAZ this morning for a modest gain.

Robinhood. No commisions.

This will open the door to a lot of smaller investors.

Not saying UGAZ will shoot up tomorrow. I plan on selling DGAZ after the report comes out tomorrow because I believe we see another spike downward similar to last week. I was planning on buying UGAZ tomorrow after the dip as I see colder weather heading into the Midwest, Northeast and portions of the South the first and second week of February. Possible below zero wind chills in the Midwest and close to zero degree wind chills in the NE.

With that said, I completely forgot about the Shake Shack IPO on Friday. I will be going completely liquid in my portfolio to grab a piece of this so I won't be buying UGAZ as stated in previous post but I would if it wasn't for the IPO Friday morning.
