Gotta laugh so I don't cry. I've got one more bullet to average down. If I see 7.99 or lower I'm pulingerie the trigger

I'd wait at least until you see HH cash settlement this evening. I don't think we're done. A lot of consensus on the monthly weather outlook right now. Also probably wait for the next three weeks estimated for degree days and withdrawal. They'll start to come out about Tuesday.

shite, do what you want, I have no idea what's going on here. But I'm long(3) short 1.

It looks like the last week of December is setting up for some colder weather. It won't help my Dec 26th expiry, but it does help out the Jan UNG puts, and Feb spreads.

I went a little bit longer today, but I'm going to wait and see if I can get averaged down more the next 10 days or so. Unless of course something changes, which it always seems to do with natty gas.

Explain the expiration, do all funds expire the 26th or does it depend on when the ETF was purchased?

Options on the January (f) contract last day of trading in the 26th. Expires the 27th. F last trading day is the 29th.

UNG January last trading day is the 16th and expiry is the 17th.

The future's contract expiration make a difference in the last week. even to the guys that buy UNG, DGAZ and UGAZ. A lot of buying and selling to close makes the pricing fluid. They expire at spot (y) because if they're not settled in cash you take delivery.

Popped up about .075 last night. It looks like some profit taking by shorts that don't want to keep their position open over the weekend. I wonder if last night's weather forecast plays in to it also.

UGAZ is off and running.

Why did I decide to hedge my calls and UGAZ yesterday.

This guy is saying the cold is coming in January, but the threat of another polar vortex is all but dead. I think this past week was all about digesting the reality that this winter will not be like last year's.

Just give me 16 again on UGAZ and I'll be on my merry way.

HH cash down to $3.43. Remarkable about the production, lack of freeze offs and low demand. It can turn in a hurry, and I hope it does. I suspect not until the last week of December at the earliest. The run up in F is almost entirely short covering.

Weakness until the weather forecast reality (if it becomes reality) for the last week of December kicks in.

Where do you go skiing at?

I'm leaving for Florida on the 18th, stopping in the mountains to fly fish (weather permitting), and driving to Jacksonville for our game against Tennessee.
