It depends how you look at it. Painful, or opportunity?

What's Thursday
Trying to decide if I want to average down UGAZ or jump into LNGLF in the upcoming weeks

Weekly storage report release. Last weeks withdrawal is going to pale in comparison to the YOY comparison. I think this time last year we had a 200+ bcf withdrawal? The weather models are lining up for a cold January, but I don't know how much that is going to help UGAZ holders at this point.

You bought it less than two months ago? You sell it in another two months at a 25% gain. You go short for the summer. You're pretty much getting an annualized return of over 50%.
That being the case why worry about the long side getting delayed until January? It's been a tough month, no doubt, but natty gas at $3.60 ins't fundamentally sustainable all winter. We likely won't have a repeat of last winter, but winter will get here sure as shite.

My fear is that by the time the worst of the winter hits, UGAZ will have already rolled in March contracts. It's already 100% Feb contracts.

Maybe, but last winter was insane

Last winter really didn't start until Jan.

Nice bump up in the premarket. Let's see how long this lasts before the 9:30 numbers.

Getting painful. Will winter ever get here?

Under $8 in the premarket. Keep falling

My Roth is about to by a chunk of UGAZ

I'm beginning to wonder. Damn. I thought I was going to have a good Christmas a month ago.

Will it ever go back up? Where's my polar vortex when I need one.
Posted on 12/19/14 at 9:00 am to The Big Bro
I only have a little ammo left to average down, wondering if now is the time
Posted on 12/19/14 at 9:00 am to The Big Bro
I'm not sure we get another polar vortex. Looks like a pretty tepid winter.

Winter hasn't started. There is no way for anyone to know this right now.

I told myself I would get in at $7.50, but I may just wait this out. Not showing any sign of slowing down
