My Canadian mother in law is doing up her will. She wants to do it all in thirds. I can't begin to imagine the taxes and bs involved in getting what wouldn't amount to probably $250k Canadian.
Before looking for lawyers to do their lawyer stuff, what kind screwing is expected? Wife is still considered a Canadian citizen even though she's been Naturalized here for 26 yrs. Would there be any avoidance of a lot of imports by investing there or something else?
Anyway, I don't know if this is worthy of the money board but doesn't hurt to ask. Not looking for concrete plans but ideas.
