re: People that go to places and don’t try the local cuisine
Posted by OU812ME2 on 1/16/26 at 8:27 am to ClemsonKitten
I'm not big on chains when I travel anywhere. Or my real manifesto is I don't eat at places that I can eat at while home. So In N Out... for sure. Canes? yep. McDonalds? nah.
Unfortunately, a LOT of the famous places are now just famous for their past food. Most local places make you wonder why they're even in business, much less famous for their area. But I do always try to find something I can't get at home to eat AND drink. Do I care if anyone else does that? nope. Don't look down on people who don't think like you. Everyone who is different isn't doing it wrong, nor are you wrong. Different strokes for different folks.
When I was in the Navy, McDonalds was always considered a safe location to take a shite at. Most Asian places had those hole in the floor toilets and after a long night drinking and eating everything you could, a nice McDonalds shitter just was like a warm hug.

Honestly, I don't care. I was never upset with Frank leaving. We haven't had a decent running game since he came and I was happy to see the house cleaned of those responsible. I trust Kiffin to do whatever it takes to have the best hurry up offense around combined with a good to great defense that will allow us to make football fun to watch.
He's hit the ground running and there is nothing that says he isn't serious as hell about creating a dynasty starting at day 1 here. And that gives me a smile every time I think about it. I can't wait until it's our opponents puking on the field instead of our soft sorry asses.

He's a hero in their book. They set him up with an illegal unlicensed daycare that's already pillaged millions and millions from the fedgov. Looks like a trend with these people. You can Glass those shitholes for all I care. Mogadishu is what Liberals dream for America.
It was 4th down. Man hope they enjoy their coach
re: Working for yourself

Good luck finding insurance when you work for yourself. My wife has a good job with platinum insurance so we're covered. But when she was doing the stay at home thing to raise the kids, it was a nightmare trying to find decent insurance that actually covered anything at any pay rate. And all those prices were over $1000/mth for nothing.
If I could do it over, I'd go work for a big company and put in maximum 401k and enjoy the ride. If you think your boss is an A-hole you can't work for, wait until you meet your customers.

The Harbor Freight one is great with the lighter. You need to keep it out of the weather for the lighter to work consistently. It throws the shite out of flames though. It's overkill, but I use it to light my Masterbuilt gravity. And whatever else needs a flame.
He's awful. Can't make short passes. Horrible accuracy. Timid and slow. No thanks

QB is playing to perfection. Can’t blitz a QB who’s balling out.
Not to mention that Pickett is playing one of his worst games of the year. Not many defensive starters out there including the line.

ESPN fricking sucks. And frick Christian Latener
I'm sure it's being fixed are already fixed. Truth is most people driving screw up how to handle power outages at traffic lights. I've seen people blow through them at full speed

They move those people out and down South. The new areas are nice and they seem to have enough security and police presence to keep the masked thugs limited. Now they need to clean out the Tent city around the 20 ramp off 75n.
re: Chickens are dumb but I love em!

I agree! I didn't realize how great they were until we got a flock. We have one that usually goes broody 2-3 times a year and so it feels like we're always adding to the flock. In the Summer, it's harder because the snakes like to eat the chicks (and eggs). But it's amazing watching those little boogers hatch out and follow momma around.
Right now I have a pretty mean 'boss bitch' who ran half the newer ones out of the coop at night so they're now tree chickens. No matter how many times we went out at night and snatched them out of the trees and tried to rehome them, they just want the trees more. We have around an acre fenced that is mostly wooded for their play yard. Everything likes to eat chicken, including chicken. They're the best garbage disposals I have and will love you for every morsel you give them. Especially meat. They're also pretty brutal establishing their pecking order.
I have a lawn chair in their area and sometimes we'll just sit and watch them do their thing. Pretty relaxing.

They all better be ready to grind their asses off on Juggs machine and running sprints and routes. Time to start having pride in what you do.
re: chicken tractor plans

You won't be able to build it out of wood unless you overbuild it to be pulled with a tractor. I raised 25 broilers in a 8x8x3 tractor. Make sure you put hardware cloth on it and not just chicken wire. I ended up running over 3 birds near their processing time because they just don't move. Those days, I would just process the one and skin it and piece it out before work.
I don't have a picture of it online that I can link to.

I'm a fan of the Sony A7.
I haven't looked at them since I purchased my A7S2 which has been somewhere around 8-10 yrs ago. I got it mainly because of it's low light video ability and to record my kid's high school football games. Worked great.
I would look for maybe the next version higher than mine because they really upped the photo pixels that year from the second version. If you have money then buy new, but really the old ones are great and more than enough. But I'm mainly a video person.

re: Why the for Coach “O” aka ZERO
Posted by OU812ME2 on 12/2/25 at 11:59 am to SOCAL TIGER
He may have ruined the program. But it was because he couldn't handle the enormous success he had. I think he understands that. It would take a LOT of pride swallowing to come back as Defensive Line coach or recruiting coordinator. I have understanding at reaching the top and falling. It happens to people who catch lightning in a bottle.
Ed O at recruiting or DL would be the perfect place for him to continue to promote LSU and be an ambassador part of the program. And he's tough and demands effort on the field. Nothing like we've seen the last few years. And if Lane wants him, then damnit he gets him.

Coach JB Reacts To Brian Kelly's Son Kenzel Kelly's Senior Night Message!

I know JB is a weird dude, but this is hilarious. Was hoping they clipped it from yesterday's show. I know we're all supposed to be over it, but it's also deserved after a stunt like that.

I don't mind the obvious big foot racist videos or anything that is not trying to pass itself off as a real person. A lot of those are hilarious.
The WW2 videos about when the Japanese knew they were going to lose or what happened when Hitler saw his first Jeep etc aren't even correct historically and the ai generated pictures are awful.
They need a tag or way to weed these out with some sort of watermark or warning. All ai generated videos need a way to signify it as unreal.

I have a Sony dream machine that was given to me by my mom when I graduated high school in 89. It wakes me up at the same times and has for the last 30 years along with two snooze button hits. I'm a creature of habit though. Those old Sony alarm clocks were built on a different level than most junk made today.
