It's sitting at 52 week lows. Down almost 50% from a year ago. P/E ratio is still pretty high at 34 but it's been a growth stock now for well over a decade.

Anyone following CMG closely? I've indirectly (not seriously) followed it for several years and always wanted to start a position (selfishly because I love to eat there).

Any opinions from the board? I am having trouble seeing this one go much lower, but that's just a personal opinion and not backed by any facts / research.

Fast food stocks i believe will have a hard time over the next few years with prices sky high. Fewer people will be eating out. I own a few fast food stocks: Mcdonalds, domino's and olive garden. Not adding anymore. CMG has so many shares it will be a slow climb back if there is one.

This is the definition of a falling knife.
I wouldn't try timing it.
No support anywhere on the chart.

And still an extremely high forward P/E when compared to peers:

LT buy and hold.

Let it shake-out for another week, then DCA and profit.

This

My Wendys WEN stock is half of what it was. I still like the divy. However it is still more than what I paid.

I sold my Dave and Buster (PLAY) a while back.

When they did the huge split, it was $50. It has never been much over that since then.

I saw an interesting statement that CMG chose the wrong path when it decided to lease locations instead of buying the properties.

It’s long been joked that McD’s is really just an REIT that serves burgers.
