Teams have been going south to Florida (Grapefruit League) and a lesser extent AZ (Cactus League) for almost 100 years.

The bill just came in for the prior month. Holy crap!
I used 20% less gas in February, and the bill was HIGHER than last month.
And natural gas has settled back down into the $3-range for the entire month of February. I checked.
What gives? Are these guys shysters?

I posted this in the other thread about gas bills, but there’s a pretty obvious reason why everyone’s gas bill skyrocketed in January-February.

The US really needs to radically scale back the H1B program and halt any new H1Bs.
The labor market is flooded with white collar workers and hardly any of it is so specialized that companies can’t find an American to do the work. They’re just taking advantage of the lower salaries.
End result is American workers are having to compete and accept lower pay as well, or don’t work at all.

I dunno…I think it might be more that they don’t want to cannibalize other broadcast's ratings like WBB and such.
I have a Sam’s club membership and the gas there is usually 15~20¢ cheaper than the race track or Shell station. I can’t think Upstart trumps those savings.
