Yeah I think this one ends in war, or Balkanization of World Trade and then war
Either way …we weaponized the US Treasury in an incredibly stupid way in a symbolic “sanction” on Russia
Forced world trade players to take sides for their own best interests…..and dump the Dollar as soon as they can

They get what they deserve for electing a communist who is anti oil. Delete the largest export and expect revenue to go up?
I could see usd in their future just like venezuela, panama, etc..

Cliff notes version was very good. We’re seeing this happen in real time. Dollar just overtook the Euro
This is why the whole "reserve currency" fears are kind of bullshite. There is not a close #2 in competition with USD.
At this point, if the USD fails, it's more likely that the world economies all collapse and no currency could be a reserve currency than the USD could be replaced.

Thanks for posting this. Finally got a chance to sit down and watch the long video. It's an interesting thesis. I can't say I'm smart enough to side one way or the other, but it's definitely food for thought. Especially interesting because he said all of that pre-covid, and worldwide covid fiscal policy only accelerated what he talked about as the basis for the death spiral.

Yep we are in it right now
Scary to think that the dollar going parabolic might actually lead to its demise
(All of these things are on long timetables, nothing of this magnitude happens overnight)

Thank you for posting this. I watched both links and the long version is definitely in line with how I was thinking. It’s nice to have someone explain it so clearly.
I guess I will have to start following the Rebel Capitalist now.
