In my experience, most failing companies do not do buybacks, they issue more shares ATM to get more "free" cash. Tellurian is an example. Buying stock of your company is generally favored in the market. Selling stock or issuing more shares is more of a problem.
If they see their stock 10x'ing, the money used to do buybacks would 10x. If they use that money for capital, they will probably increase whatever they still own, but not by as much as buyback and owning more shares.

Never said it was failing, low growth companies do buybacks. Hyper growth does not

For this kind of small company, don't look at PE, Revenue....it's easily get manipulated. Look at the trading volume and price, follow the momentum. Pure gambling.

These are threads I love reading on MT. Great write up with more than bare bone info in the OP and some honest debate that gives a guy who doesn't understand a lot of why companies do what they do an opportunity to learn.
