If any small business owner feels like they’ve hit a brick wall with their bank send me an email and I’ll give you the contact info.

What method did everyone use for the number of employees section of the application? Total FTE employee count as of the date of the application or average employee count during 2019?

The instructions were very vague on this topic and I have seen several different interpretations of how people completed this section of the application.

We were a little conservative with that number. We used the FTE plus two part-timers that we use on a regular basis.

I may need that guys info for my BIL. He's a sports apparel rep and a 1099 employee. The company he works for sounds like they either are ignorant of how this works (very possible its Mississippi) or they are actively double dipping.

I think you can also use calendar year 2019, right?

My conversations with bankers is they have been processed and reviewed by the bank but they have to be entered into a system with SBA and the website keeps crashing.

We have entered client’s application into the SBA system, received a loan number and guaranteed, processed all the loans our system from last Fri and Sat and funded many of them.

I have heard Iberia has changed their process several times, including the loan amount determination worksheet and several other internal forms.

I apologize if these questions have already been answered.
But what if an employee quits during the eight weeks? Is the business owner punished with non forgiveness of the loan if the payroll usage drops below 75 percent?
Also, what if the business is not back to pre corona levels at the eight week mark, and we have to furlough some employees again. Is there any non forgiveness penalty is that scenario?

You don’t have to spend all the money you are loaned.

Luckily we didn't because our total portfolio company count came in just under 500 (492 to be exact). Very fortunate.
