 I just finished Thunderball. Looking forward to the next 2 plus I have never seen On Her Majesty's. And honestly it's going to be fun to see the Moore run again. He's the Bond I grew up with so I'll always like him, but I do wonder if I'll like him as much after watching all the Connery ones first.

I’m probably the only person on this board that liked that show

I thought it was pretty good and definitely would have watched more episodes. She has some perfect tits in that one scene.

It’s not the initial set up that gets people, it’s doing it on all or nearly all of your accounts/assets going forward that is the problem.

I'm not planning on buying property in the future, but I guess cars are something to consider.

Most those dividends (if qualified) will likely fall in the zero LTCG rate (under $98900 married/joint)

Yeah, I need to check the return he just emailed me for 25. I'm guessing some/most of the Qual Divs were under LTCG. I think I'll need to dona mix in 27 of more Cap gains and Roth conversion but to keep it at the 0% LTCG rate for the Divs and Gains.

Interesting. My plan is to do these conversions for several years to stay at that 12% top.

What kind of things can retirees do to lessen tax burden? My first year of doing Roth conversions. I did $116k. I expect to likely have about $15-20k in Dividends. Had $17.5k for 2025. Deductions of about $34k so I'll be around $100k taxable income. Even with staying at the 12% rate on Fed, because I live in Hawaii it's another $5k+ in state taxes on top the ~$12k Fed. $17k in taxes isn't awful for that amount but I want to keep more of it

Big cost is the cost to set up sbd aggravation of retitling assets

Many employers offer prepaid legal as an option so my wife had that. It cost us about $1k for an attorney from their list to do the Trust, Will, AHD, and POA. He also filed the Deed paperwork for my properties with the state just for the fees charged plus priority mail cost.

You're definitely right on the annoyance of retitiling. Some were easier than others, but overall it's not that bad. And once it's done you won't think back on the aggravation.

re: Schwab is an overrated brokerage

Yeah, I'm completely satisfied with Schwab. I got moved over from TDA, but overall it went smoothly and I like their app just fine. CS has been very good to me. There's a couple little things I'd like better, but they even have a brick & mortar in Oahu so I could drop off i401k checks in person.

It also doesn't hurt to get a discount on my AMEX Plat annual fee by having the Schwab version.

I remember when I was down 14% the day after I bought this stock
I checked today and I'm up 49% on those shares and nearly 75% on the shares I bought once it got even lower. Of course, I will now cry that I didn't buy more :banghead:

decompression table

That's my favorite part. I have sciatica rear it's ugly head every couple months or so. It used to be more often but PT helped me learn good stretching techniques. There's been times laying in bed was too painful to sleep so I go see my chiro and he'll do 20 minutes of intense tens with heating pad, soak in and massage bio freeze, and then 5 or so minutes on the decompression table and I walk upright out of his office. He does some cracking too and I love all of that shite. I guess it's about finding the right one as it's strange how many here are negative.
