BTW, the way I crunch the numbers from this press release prices the acreage at just under $30K per.

ETA: I mean that's their upfront acquisition cost, not the Present Value of the acreage. This would seem to put substantial upwards pressure on lease bonus payments.

That's a home run for Chesapeake. PXP will carry them for 50% of the costs obtaining only a 20% working interest. This will provide CHK with much needed cash, and will allow PXP an entry point to the hottest play in the country.

Dog, do you agree on the valuation of the entry costs I did?

And we know CHK paid a lot lower than that. Yeah, I agree. This almost just has to be a much better way for them to get cash than tapping the debt markets.

Dynamic is a small company that has a piece of the Sentell Field. They've been drilling Cotton Valley infill wells visible on Hwy 3 between Benton and Bossier City on the east side of the highway. I think it's on the pink sheets.

Selling minerals. We are going to sell 6.38 ac. of minerals in Desoto Parish (in 2 difference townships and ranges). Anyone with an idea of the value and who might buy. Need cash NOW and we do have other acreage in the shale we would keep.
