To me 10% is too limiting. To whom much is given, much is to be expected.
We don't give 10% to our church but we give more than that to our church/missionaries/other ministries that we support. We also have the mindset that if we have extra and someone needs help, the money is God's, not ours.
We are blessed to be a blessing.

I give more than I ever wanted to the "less fortunate" when I pay my taxes. That is more than enough "giving" in my opinion.
