You've been posting on here long enough to know that the site's owners take a dim view of pump and dump threads on the Money Talk Board.
They have whacked threads which appear to blatantly do that and occasionally those posters get to take a vacation from posting.
So what? Why do you care?
And that's not what he's doing

This would be an awful pump and dump. Tesla has too much volume and the share price is too high for a poster on here to make any impact.
His implication that it could be a pump and dump is retarded

That is correct, bc you sound like all the shorts who have been wrong for years bc they don't understand what he's trying to do and what's coming. That is why it's so heavily shorted and they're all drowning. Anyways I'm done here, you're a nice guy but a smartarse. It's whatever I don't expect you to be creative when you have almost $1m of a stock that's gone nowhere in years and has nothing remotely intriguing on the horizon. I'm just gonna keep my opinions to myself, you guys can troll me when I'm wrong, but I've never ever posted a stock that performed like your favorite Exxon did over this past multi year time frame.

I've never spent much time on the Money Board and plan to start doing so.
What exactly did dabigfella do wrong? Advised to buy a stock at at $244 and then talks about selling at $326?
What am I missing here?

He's just being a fan boy rather than actually wanting to discuss fundamentals. His discussion is better for the OT.

Eta: I just googled it and found a write up on it. What's its connection with this thread?

I'm still lost.
Guy believes in a stock (maybe that makes them a fanboy?) says they're buying said stock, and come to Money Talk to discuss it. Comes back several months later to talk about the growth of the stock and gets made fun of for it?
Super confused.

lsutraderman and dabigfella have the same rambling defensive postings. Not calling him an alter, but I had a bit of deja vu in this thread the other day. The obsession and outright belligerence towards anyone who offered another opinion is strikingly similar. And then there's the whole pump and dump aspect. Not that anything he says will likely have an effect on the price, it's just humorous to see the crazy "once in a lifetime investment opportunity" posts so quickly followed by "I sold and made so much money" post.

Tesla
Wynn
V
PM
to some guy posting some biotechs that probably all suck. Geez.

It's not a big deal really. He likely didn't do anything "wrong."
I made the mistake of thinking he actually wanted other posters opinions on Tesla when what he really wanted was affirmation of his confirmation bias from other posters. I wasn't aware of his previous posts about TSLA so when I saw his first post I was intrigued since Tesla hasn't crossed my radar since those episodes where they were selling vehicles with external combustion engines.
I found 3 years of TSLA's financial statements, including their god awful cash flow statements, and several writeups about their missed projections for production, delivered cars and financial forecasts, more than 20 missed forecasts/projections over the last 10 years. One article even said Elon Musk has NEVER hit a single Tesla forecast/prediction on time.
So, I posted about what I learned not knowing what I know now that bigfella didn't want to hear anything negative about the company. And the worst thing I said was that Tesla is a speculative stock and sometimes speculative stocks pay off but it isn't for me.
Then after posting for days about how Tesla is going to go up to $500-700 in the "short term" and even to "$415 after they announce earnings this week" and criticizing anyone who doesn't buy it, he says today "I sold my shares."
That struck me as a bit..........unusual.
And that ignores his obsession with me owning Exxon stock. That REALLY pisses him off although I've never told him or anyone else they should buy Exxon.

I sold my shares AND SOLD PUTS, do you know that selling puts is bullish right? When a stock runs up $19 on a day with no news and you sell it and sell puts at $315 which is still $8 higher than it was friday, you're booking profits and moving back into the name at a lower level. Im sorry you wouldn't know such a thing bc Exxon would never move 4% up in a day in its wildest dreams and you're more of a buy and hold guy, but Im actually trying to book a profit when the RSI on a stock goes over 90, or do you not understand what that even means?
