Insane.

I bet Pokemon Go provides a higher quality of social interaction as well (if there was ever a way to measure that) and it's not even a communication app like Twitter.

I'm picturing ways businesses can pay to make their locations have rare Pokemon to attract users to come there. There are so many unique ideas only this app can provide.

My brother lives in Buckhead outside of ATL, said there were people bar hopping getting drunk while looking for Pokemon

Hope you bet big. What a call.

No way I think Nintendo should be valued at this level, but great call nonetheless. Cash out!

The ride may not even be over, this app is set to release in both Europe and Asia over the next few days. The number of users is going to EXPLODE once Asia gets their hands on it.

I just started trading at the beginning of this year. It's the 4th trade I've ever done. It's a very small position (52 shares).

I don't doubt that, but will it produce significant monetary gains before the fad dies? Current PE is 150x and I think I saw they added almost 8 billion to market cap today.

I mean, remember - this is Nintendo were talking about. I wouldn't think twice about selling here is you bought when you posted. Just my opinion.

Don't forget to lock in profits then.

52 shares at $17.69?

If so you're up over 55%. Not to shabby.

Lol, I didn't buy I have no idea how that will effect the stock. Just thought it was a fascinating story.

I bought in at $17.85.

I'm conflicted as to whether I should hold or sell. Think I'm going to just let this settle down, sink in, and decide this upcoming weekend what my plan is. I don't expect it to rise or fall drastically before then.

edit: n/m, today I set a limit order to sell at $27.75 and I thought I had cancelled it but apparently didn't. That was fun.

Tip: use a trailing stop next time. It works like a traditional stop loss, but it also automatically moves up if your trade goes your way, allowing your winning trades to run while protecting a certain amount of profit. Just make sure your trailing stop leaves enough wiggle room to leave you in during a pullback in an uptrend.

I really need to start paying better attention to the Money Board.

So how high can this thing go? Worth buying in now or is it probably a little too late?

No one knows. I personally wouldn't buy in now because my system is to buy at a time when a stock is "down." Buying in after a big 3 day surge just doesn't feel right to me.

It would probably take a retreat back to under $23 for me to want to get back in.

edit: It's up 10% today in Japan.

Play is less lucrative at this point but from what Ive read its not hit all Asian markets soooo this may not be over. I am not sure at 28 bucks a share though.

Shouldn't the Asian market projected success already be factored into current stock price based on performance in existing markets?
