He isn't really saying anything too outlandish other than the conspiracy stuff.
Telling people to buy Eth instead of BTC isn't exactly revolutionary at this point.
eta: well and the ETH being 6-10k thing.
I think 5k is the upperlimit for EOY with it more likely being 2-3k.

I dont think the market cap is going to go much above 1T this year but I could be wrong. Hope I am.

Anybody know what the ATH 24 hour volume is for ETH? Approaching 1M.

Rumor on Twitter is that BTC futures contracts expire today at 4pm ET and that traders are shorting to hedge their long futures exposure.

That's common practice, though. I wouldn't read much into it.

Charlie Lee, Litecoin founder for those unfamiliar, warned of today’s frickery on 1/1 because of those expiring contracts:

I’m curious to see what the market does in about 3-4hrs when the Koreans and Chinese wake up.

Asians love their crypto. I'd imagine they are accumulating a shite ton here while everyone else panics

I bought 6 shares of GBTC at $1474 a pop this morning. It's currently trading at $1550 so I am up already a little but if there is a crypto rebound I should be sitting pretty good. It trades consistently $2K+ and hit an ATH of $3200 in December. Don't need that much of a bump, though and I will be happy.
If it tanks, I have a stop limit set so I won't bleed too much.

We saw a decent rally at around 1630 cst yesterday that pushed eth almost back to 1100.
Will be interesting.

Anyone else still in LTC? I sold mine off, but $150 intrigues me as a entry price.
I assume most here think LTC is as dead as BTC, or at least on that same trajectory.

LTC isn’t dead. LTC has a really solid team behind it. They developed the lightning network that BTC will adopt. If you can’t handle the pompousness and brazen personality of Charlie Lee, I’d suggest you not get in though.

Exactly. He is not compatible with uneducated and irrational investors. My biggest draw to him is I geniunely believe he is in it for the global adoption of cryptocurrency and not in it just to make bank. He doesn’t shill his coin or oversell it. If people invest then good, if not he still is working towards globalizing it, even if that’s a far fetched reality to most people.

Wouldn’t hold on to this one very long. I trade it on occasion, but it trades at a huge premium of its NAV. I only swing trade that one on BTC momentum. It’s easier exhange and tax wise, IMO

Yea I know. It's a 100% short term. Only bought because of the dump and mad I missed the bottom on it, but I am sitting good on it for now.
