I can’t figure out why volatility even matters if you get a better total return over time. The inability to handle volatility is just the inability to control your emotions.

Also, people are different ages. Being down 50% at 72 years old is much different than at 28.
In any event, the idea isn't to substitute your entire equity exposure for hedge funds - the idea is to have a part of your portfolio as ballast.

Timing is everything I own equal QQQ and BRKB, bought BRKB May of 21, and QQQ July of 2021. BRKB has doubled the performance of QQQ....happy with both.
