"When Will was in my class, he had a running joke of hiding my stapler. On top of things, in random places. One day, my bright pink stapler was hanging from the ceiling. When he went to get it down for me, it fell to the ground and cracked.
Years later, he showed up in my classroom with a fancy one touch pink stapler. He was funny and kind and generous and told me he owed me a stapler.
Teaching kids like William makes my job fun and worthwhile at times and hard and devastating at times like these. ?? Praying for peace for his family."

This was posted by a teacher he had in high school.

Wow, that's awful when I hear of anybody going that young. Didn't "know" the guy but definitely "knew" him on here. Didn't always agree with him, but he more often than not provided solid advice. He'll be missed. Prayers to his family and friends.

It seems he was also Koman of Acadiana Board President for a few years. Tragic is all I can say.

Awful to hear. Never knew the guy personally, but as others have said, one of the few on here that you sit up in your chair to read their posts. My heart goes out to his family.

Wow. I knew him IRL from college. We shared a good bit of mutual friends. Never knew that was him posting here.

Rockyn did you know him? My understanding is that his brother found him yesterday morning. I can't imagine what that poor kid is dealing with having been "the one".

Man, horrible to hear. As a long time lurker, his posts really stood out and he could hold his own against the best of them. Only 29 and just passed CFA III. Seems like he was already professionally successful and could only imagine what his next steps would have been. Life taken way too short. RIP.

HiddenFlask was a great guy and a highly intelligent young man. I was lucky to attend grad school with him, and I'll certainly be keeping his family and friends in our prayers.

Still very shocking. He'll be missed.
