I’m skeptical of all of it. Don’t shoot the messenger

It’s sad though the level of trust we all have in the system. Shouldn’t be this way. Not here.

How much of an impact does farm payroll actually have? Can we not just say jobs report? Are farms really seasonally hiring THAT many on payroll? I'd assume most farmers pay cash to immigrants for seasonal labor anyway.

Smoking on flights has been outlawed for almost 40 years and we STILL have to sit through the ridiculous announcement about "tampering or disabling smoke detectors" at the beginning of every flight.

Doom porn is routine on this board, although many of the usual suspects have been beat into submission by equity markets continually making new highs. 6-12 months ago, the board was flooded with "I'm down on my 401K since Biden was inaugurated" types of threads.

That answers nothing in regards to how many jobs or what percentage is outside of payroll?

Because both parties are now fiscally irresponsible and creating policy than benefits their short term stints.

And what’s behind the surge? 785k additional “government” jobs. Woof. This from a government that is adding a trillion dollars to the debt every 3 months. Can’t make this stuff up.

You’ve never met a job report under Biden where you didn’t find fault. Keep that up if Trump wins.

900k increase in Native born employment with this report. 400k increase in full time employment. You still bitch.

Private payrolls are doing just fine too.
